3The economy, product by product
Where OMCADE is spent, the one rule every product follows, the roadmap, and how Omen pays its bills.
3.1Where OMCADE is used
Items in games, and trades between players on the marketplace.
Studios' games pay the studio in OMCADE. Omen's own games, published as Astreyn, follow the rule below.
What studios pay to use the platform: 0.001 OMCADE per API call, 0.01 per NFT mint.
Billed to each game monthly.
Planned as a subscription, priced in US dollars and payable in OMCADE.
Not available yet. Pricing is not set. Its AI runs on your own provider keys.
Planned purchases inside Omen Universe, payable in OMCADE.
Not available yet. What is sold is not set. It runs on your own AI subscriptions.
Doesn't use OMCADE.
Its AI runs on your own account with your AI provider, which you pay directly.
- Note 1. “Planned” means the direction is set but the product doesn't take OMCADE yet. Terms are published here before it does.
3.2One rule for every product
Prices are in US dollars everywhere. Where the money goes depends only on who sells and what the buyer pays with.

- Note 1. Omen's tools run AI on your own accounts, so Omen has no AI computing bill to pay. That's why they can accept OMCADE.
3.3What the design rests on
3.4The road to an economy that pays for itself
What has to be true for OMCADE to run on real use: people paying for things, a pool Omen can't take money out of, rules anyone can check, and more places to spend it.

3.5How Omen pays its bills
From launch, Omen runs on the 15% fee from purchases paid in dollars, and on its own games' sales. Until then, it's the 3% fee from before. It never needs to swap OMCADE for dollars to pay for anything. Both are small today, while the platform is in beta.
