8Hard questions

What people ask us most, answered plainly. Open any of them.

8.1What is OMCADE?

OMCADE is the token you spend across Omen's games. It is an ERC-20 token on BSC with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000.

Items in Omen Arcade games are priced in US dollars. Players pay with OMCADE or with dollars, and the studio that made the game is paid in OMCADE.

How a purchase works

8.2Do I need OMCADE to buy something in a game?

No. If you have OMCADE, a purchase uses it first. If not, it uses your USDT balance, and if that is empty too, you top up: with a card in the same window, or with BNB, GMT, ETH, USDC or USDT.

Either way the studio is paid in OMCADE. When you pay in dollars, the conversion happens for you in the public USDT/OMCADE pool, and the receipt links every step.

The three ways to pay

8.3Which Omen products use OMCADE?

Today: Omen Arcade, for items in games and trades between players, and the Developer Portal, which studios pay in OMCADE.

Planned: an Omen Game Studio subscription priced in US dollars and payable in OMCADE, and purchases inside Omen Universe. Omen IDE doesn't use OMCADE. All three tools run AI on your own keys and accounts.

OMCADE by product

8.4Does Omen sell OMCADE?

Omen supplies OMCADE to the public pool, and buyers can buy it there. It does so only through liquidity positions it permanently locks: once a position is locked, nobody, Omen included, can take back the USDT buyers paid into it. From the day the pool opens, Omen never sells its own OMCADE for USDT, in the pool or directly to anyone.

So OMCADE in the pool can come from Omen, but the money paid for it stays in the pool, and Omen can never take it out.

How liquidity works

8.5What does “permanently locked” mean? Does Omen burn OMCADE?

Omen doesn't destroy OMCADE. “Permanently locked” describes Omen's liquidity positions: Omen gives each one to the dead address, an address nobody controls.

The OMCADE and USDT inside stay in the pool and keep working for trades. What nobody can ever do, Omen included, is withdraw them.

Locked positions

8.6How does Omen make money?

From launch, from a 15% fee on purchases in games. When you pay with a card or USDT, the fee is kept in USDT and pays for running the platform. When you pay in OMCADE, 12 of the 15 points go into permanently locked liquidity and 3 size the weekly VIP allocations. Until then, it's the 3% fee from before.

Omen's own games, published under its Astreyn label, sell their items like any game company: paid in dollars, Omen keeps the dollars; paid in OMCADE, that OMCADE goes into locked liquidity.

Every fee and limit

8.7Who holds the keys to my Omen Arcade wallet?

Your Omen Arcade wallet is built on thirdweb. Its key is secured by thirdweb and unlocked when you sign in, and Omen never sees it.

Omen Arcade is the only app that uses the wallet, and it carries out the purchases you confirm. That is why a purchase takes one confirm, needs no gas and shows no signing prompts.

Items and tokens in it are recorded at your wallet's address on BSC, and every transfer can be looked up on BscScan.

8.8What can I top up with?

A card, or BNB, GMT, ETH, USDC or USDT. Everything is converted to USDT when it arrives, so your balance and prices are in dollars. You see the USDT amount before you confirm.

8.9Can I withdraw?

If you held a USDT balance on 10 October 2026, yes: you can withdraw it until Monday 26 October 2026, 23:59 El Salvador time, after identity verification. Ask before then and it gets finished, even if verification takes a little longer.

After that date, your USDT stays on your account for buying in games, and it never expires. USDT you top up from 10 October 2026 on is for spending in games. Nobody receives USDT from the platform.

Whether OMCADE can be taken out of Omen Arcade isn't decided yet. When it is, it's announced here, to everyone at once. Other tokens in your wallet, like BNB and GMT, aren't affected.

8.10Can more OMCADE be created?

No. All 1,000,000,000 OMCADE were minted when the contract was deployed. The part not in circulation sits in a Safe.global multisig that needs multiple signers to move anything.

Supply and distribution

8.11Who is behind OMCADE?

Omen Foundation S.A. de C.V., the team that builds Omen Arcade, Omen Universe, Omen Game Studio and Omen IDE. It operates under the laws of El Salvador.

There is no team allocation. Team members hold small amounts of OMCADE from the reserve, used only to test the platform. Their wallets are listed with Omen's other wallets when the pool opens, and from then on never sell OMCADE for USDT.

8.12What is GMT?

GMT is GoMining's token, not Omen's. You can top up with it, and like every top-up it's converted to USDT when it arrives.

8.13Does Omen pay OMCADE holders from its fees?

Holding OMCADE entitles no one to anything. From launch, VIP members get weekly allocations sized from 3 points of the 15% OMCADE fee; the other 12 points go into locked liquidity. Fees paid in dollars run the platform.

Starting with the epoch of Monday 19 October 2026, 15% of each epoch goes into permanently locked liquidity, and VIP members receive the rest. 15% is the base share, and it may change as purchases grow, with public notice first.

VIP may change as the program grows; any change is announced publicly before it takes effect.

8.14Where does the OMCADE in the pool come from?

First from OMCADE that's already out: 15% of every weekly VIP epoch, 12 of the 15 points of every OMCADE fee, and OMCADE paid for Omen's own games and products. When that can't keep the pool supplied, tranches of the 10,000,000 OMCADE set aside for liquidity in the whitepaper fill the gap. Each goes into its own position, and each position is permanently locked.

The pool is a public USDT/OMCADE pair on PancakeSwap. Anyone can trade in it, or add liquidity and collect its trading fees; Omen adds no rewards on top.

The pool, in detail

8.15Were 10,000,000 OMCADE lost?

Yes. The original liquidity allocation was sent by mistake to an old OMENX/USDT pool contract, which can't return them. Nobody, Omen included, can ever move them, so they are permanently out of circulation.

Omen replaces the allocation from the reserve, so the plan for Phases I to III still releases 29,000,000 from the reserve. VIP epochs have also shared out about 1,500,000 OMCADE collected as platform fees: OMCADE players had already spent, going back out, not new OMCADE from the reserve. That's why VIP epochs total about 16,500,000 so far. Other platform features release OMCADE too (see Supply), and every release can be followed on BscScan.

The distribution

8.16What happened to OMENX?

OMENX was renamed OMCADE and moved to a new contract. Every eligible balance was carried over 1:1 to the same wallet by snapshot, before OMCADE traded anywhere. Nobody had to do anything.

The migration

8.17How do I know a token is the real OMCADE?

Check its contract address. OMCADE is 0x995586c1ef10c3cbaf155a62f62d65310d0d4c1f on BSC. Any other token using the name is not OMCADE.

Official addresses

8.18Why do some rules say “at launch”?

Because they are decided but not running yet. The pool, the locked positions and the 15% fee start together. Until then, purchases run on the previous model: a fixed rate of $0.10 per OMCADE with a 3% fee. Each rule on this site changes to live, with the address that proves it, the day it starts.
